Day 4- Hanging with Ahilan

Today i met up with Ahilan- one of Courtney's Canadian friends to go to the markets and do a bit of site seeing. I met him at Borough Markets which is very similar to the Central Markets in little old Adelaide. Lots of fresh foods- fruits, vegetables, breads, cheeses etc but soooo much bigger! I bought some yummy strawberries and some fresh parmesan cheese off the block (yes yes i know the parmesan- you shouldnt be surprised!!)

We met up with a couple of his friends- Ben and Heather and they were both so lovely! Ahilan bought me the YUMMIEST grilled cheese sandwich- it was just the best! And then took me to a cute little pub to try Fruli- strawberry beer, it was very very nice!!!



Then we went for a bit of a walk along the river and sat down and had a couple of drinks, this is the view from the pub we were sitting outside of. Nice nice!!! The pointy building is called the gherkin!! Ahilan bought me my first Pimms and lemonade, also very yummy!!

On our walk we stumbled across the theatre that is showing Dirty Dancing which Jackie said she'd get us tickets for! As most of you would know Dirty Dancing is my favourite movie so im very excited!



Heres Covent Gardens- lots of places to eat and lots of buskers too.

Then we stopped and had another drink at the CRANKA!! This Crown & Anchor was a bit cleaner than our adelaide one!

Then it was time for me to catch the tube home. Its so hot on the underground- no one smiles they just push. Very friendly! Haha!!

And thats the end of Day 4!!!
