The O2 Arena!!

Today I was feeling a little better so we decided to go check out the O2 Arena!! This was originally built for a massive party for NYE 1999/2000 and used to be called the Millenium Dome- these days it is called the O2 Arena because it is owned by the phone company O2! Here is a photo of what it looks like during the day and also by night!

It's a very cool building!!! It's basically a large entertainment district including an indoor arena which hosts lots and lots of great concerts- we're going to see Fall Out Boy there (again!!) in March!!!! It also has a nightclub (Matter- we went there with our housemates a few weeks ago), a cinema, an exhibition space, piazzas and bars and restaurants! At the moment they also have a ski slope where you can take ski lessons in fake snow!! So there is lots to see and do there- we originally went there with the idea of seeing a movie, but then when we got there all the movies on were ordinary and we didn't want to see any of them!!

After we walked around for a while we decided to grab some dinner and then headed into central London to go to a pub for a drink, but turns out- all of the pubs that we knew about and wanted to go to were all closed!! And it was a Friday night!! BIZZARE!!!!!!!!! So we thought that was the universe was trying to tell us something after that so we decided to head home!!
