Byron's first couple of days in London!!

So the day finally comes where Byron arrives! His flight got in at 5:30am so I got out of bed at 2:30am (after going to bed at 12:30am!!) to catch a bus at 3:10am, 3 buses in total, to pick him up from the airport! PHEW!! Boy was i exhausted!!

His first day in London was a busy one- he wanted to get his body clock right so he wanted to stay up all day in day instead of sleeping. So we dropped his suitcase etc off at home and then headed out for breakfast in Leicester Square. Then we walked through Trafalgar Square.....

Then wandered down to Buckingham Palace....

Then did a spot of shopping on Oxford Street and Byza bought a new camera!

Then it was time to head home and get changed and go out for dinner and drinks- Byron wanted to take me and Kate out for dinner so he could get to know Kate and also as a thank you for crashing at our place until Kate heads home.... We went to Covent Gardens and had a couple of drinks and then had a beautiful meal and some wine. Here's some pretty Christmas lights up in Covent Gardens at the moment...

Kate was tired so she headed home quite early, so me and Byron decided to go for a walk. So we walked back through Leicester Square and through Picadilly Circus....

And then we walked up Regent Street so Byron could see the pretty Christmas Lights....

And then we wandered down Oxford Street so he could check out the Christmas lights down there....

By the time we were both yawning so we decided it was time to go home and get some sleep!! I had tomorrow off work also, woohoo!!!!

So Friday we headed into central London so Byron could get his iphone fixed and then we did a spot of shopping and met up with Jackie! We went shopping for a big jacket for Byron to wear (the cold cold weather has shocked the poor dear a little bit!!!)

Jackie organised for us to have dinner with her and Adam at a traditional English restuarant in Covent Gardens (she wanted Byron to experience traditional English food) and the food was beautiful!!!! We went out for a couple of drinks after and then caught the last tube home... and that was our day!!!!
