This week I have been busy applying for jobs, going to interviews, organising back accounts etc etc. I had an interview yesterday and another one today. Both interviews were with recruitment agencies that specialise in urban and regional planning jobs so they are going to send my CV off to boroughs (Councils) around where I live- they said my local government experience should be extremely beneficial. So fingers crossed I hear about some great jobs soon! But ill keep you posted!!
Then Friday it was off to Wales with Jackie and Adam to stay with Adam’s parents! We headed off Friday night after Jack and Adz both finished work- it took us about 5 hours to get there. We had a good drive over there- lots of cds were played and lots of chats were had. It was good fun! This is a really cool bridge we drove through on the way-
We arrived in Wales at about 11:30pm- we had a cup of tea and had a chat with Adz’s mum and dad and then went to sleep. We were all exhausted from the long drive! The next morning Adz cooked us bacon and eggs for breaky, mmmmm so yummy!! And then the rain started to pour down, well bucket down really, it was shocking! But that didn’t stop us from heading out to walk Adz’s parents 3 doggies in the rain!! We bulked up with lots of warm clothing and put the weather proofs on- I clearly was not prepared for this sort of weather so had to borrow a big waterproof jacket from Adz’s mum- Jan! Jack, Adz, Jan and I went walking through Wiseman’s Bridge and Saundersfoot. Here is the forest we walked through-
And here is Jack and Adz strolling along! (How good am I to get that action shot and it only took one go too!!)
We then walked along the coast line-

Here's me and Jack braving it against storm forced winds and fierce rain!
And here is us walked the dogs- Sam, Johnny and Ginny!
And then walked through a tunnel-
We walked until we reached a pub in Saundersfoot where we stopped and had a pint of cider and some hot chips. I was sooo surprised that we could bring the dogs inside the pub- apparently that’s common practice over here. Can you imagine if someone strolled into a pub in Adelaide with a dog?!! It just wouldn’t happen! Here’s me pictured with the condiments that came out with the hot chips- I loved it! Ketchup, mayo, English mustard, BBQ sauce, salt- anything you could think of in terms of dipping sauce etc was in that bowl!
We then took our saturated selves home and had warm showers and a little snooze! Then we all headed out for dinner. Jan and Bill (Adz’s parents) insisted on taking us out for dinner and would not let us pay. We went to a really gorgeous little place called Bay View-
This is the beautiful view we had from the restaurant-

And then ended up getting home about 2ish after waiting for a good 45 minutes for a taxi- they were certainly few and far between!Sunday morning we slowly got going- Adz made us bacon and egg sandwiches for breaky and then Jack, Adz and I headed out in the sunshine! Yes can you believe there was no rain!? Our first stop was Corell Castle and Mill-

Then we headed to a little town called Tenby. This place was soooooooooooo cool! Most of the town is formed inside the original walls of the castle. This is the outside-
And this is me standing just at the entrance-
It is such a cute little town!!

This is the harbour at Tenby-
And Castle Hill-
The beach was so clean and pretty-
There are houses right on the cliffs facing the beach- craziness!

We sat on the Esplanade and had hot chip rolls and they were delicious! We went for a stroll through the town- bought some lollies and some postcards and then it was time to head back to Jan and Bills for a roast dinner before the long drive back to London town.
I had such a great weekend- so relaxing. Jan and Bill are the loveliest people you could ever meet. They made me feel so very welcome and told me to not be a stranger and to come back with Jack and Adz next time they come over. And I definitely will be!! This is their place in Kilgetty (with Jax posing out the front!!)
And this is the place across the road- i just loved it cause it was pink!! (I want it, i want it!!)
We then headed back to London- got home about 11:30ish, unpacked a little and went to sleep!
So that’s my week! I am off to Ibiza, Spain to meet Rach and Jarrad tomorrow night. I am there for 3 days and come back to London on Sunday morning, can’t wait to catch up with them and enjoy the sunshine- its 30 degrees there!! And don’t worry Mumsy, Julie and girls I will wear sunscreen I promise!!
Anyways must go- me and Jack are meeting up with Laura- a girl we used to go to school with for dinner and drinks after they finish work so I better get myself organised and work out what tube I need to catch!
The next installment of the blog will come next week after I’ve been to Spain!
Thank you for your emails, I am loving getting all the gossip from back home!
Love Kels
Xoxoxo
