A day at the footy, yes Aussie rules in London!!!

So today we headed off for a day at the footy!! Courts plays for netball for the Swans and they also have a footy team and they played in the Grand Final today so went to watch them!! We were sooooooooooo excited to watch some footy, I've missed it so much!

We caught the bus and tube there. And finally sat on the top and front of the double decker bus!!Here's Courts and Sara on the tube with their beers, drinking on the tubes was actually prohibted from 1 June this year, but shhhhh we didnt know!!

So we rocked up at Regents Park and knew we were in the right place when we saw the footy goals!!!!!!! We yelped!! True story!

Here's the huddle before the game! And then after the game when they were celebrating winning the Grand Final!!!After the game we headed to the Camden Tup with the footy boys and had a few drinks! I had my first snake bite. For those of you who dont know what that is, its beer and blackcurrant cordial- apparently a big night on the snakebites can knock you for six! I only had two though, so i was all good!

The footy boys had a presentation with best and fairest and all that usual stuff and then most people got reeeeeeeeeeeeally drunk! Pretty funny! All the boys were really nice- Aussies stick together! Harry was one of the English dudes in the team and he bought me a London Swans tshirt so now im all decked out in the London footy gear!! Yeah!!

After a few hours at the Camden Tup we headed to a Walkabout (Aussie pub) somewhere near Leicester Square where the footy boys had a VIP area upstairs which we were spiffy enough to get into as well!! We stayed there for a few hours and had a few more drinks and chats, was really fun! This is how much fun me and Sara were having, ahahahahah!

But clearly not as much fun as Courts had with Frenchy!!

And dancing her little heart out!!!

We all had an awesome day at the footy, it was sooooo good being around Aussies!! Spewing it was the last game otherwise we would have gone every week! Oh well there is always next season!
