Fall Out Boy @ Wembley Stadium!!!!

The day finally arrives!! WOOHOO!!!!!!

I saw Fall Out Boy last year in Melbourne with… Dad!!! Haha!! Poor Dad got dragged to this concert because they played in Melbourne the night before the AFL Grand Final which we were obviously in Melbourne for and clearly I couldn’t go on my own!! Seen as Kate is in Morocco, that meant her ticket was up for grabs, unfortunately dad living in another country meant he couldn’t come along and see them again (hehe!!) so Ahilan bought the ticket! We grabbed some Thai food after work for dinner and then headed to WEMBLEY!!!

We walked into the stadium to a massive BOYS LIKE GIRLS banner on the stage! (For those of you who don’t know…. Boys Like Girls is a band!!) Immediately I think of Riss because Boys Like Girls and Fall Out Boy are two of her favourite bands and this totally would have been her dream gig!!! This is the stadium view from our seats- MASSIVE!!!

And here's me and Ahilan at the gig! (This bit is for you Riss!!)
Boys Like Girls came on stage for about half an hour and ended with two of their hits- Thunder and the Great Escape. Pete (from FOB) came out on stage and played Great Escape with the band- to which everyone went CRRRRRRRRRRAZY!!Eagerly waiting for FOB!Then on came FALL OUT BOY!!! They played all their great hits and started with Thanks for the Memories! They even did a cover of Estelle’s “American Boy” which I loved cause that was my moving to London song- only because there is a line in it which says “Just touched down in London town!” Hahaha! It was really strange hearing them say “thanks for having us London!!” when I’m so used to hearing “thanks for having us Adelaide!!” Photos didnt come out to clear but you get the gist of it!
Then came the encore which I called Riss during! They ended with 3 of their great songs- Beat it, Dance dance and Saturday!! I had Riss on the phone for Beat it and Dance Dance, I think she loved it and could hear it pretty clearly, which was a bonus!! It was a great concert- I think they were on stage for about an hour and 15 minutes or so! So it was a pretty decent amount of time!!!
And now it’s all over and I await the next gig which will probably be Eskimo Joe in December!!
