A weekend of shopping and glam rock!!!

Friday night straight from work I headed to Courts place to have dinner with Courts, Sara and Carla (one of Courts friends). Sara made us a really yummy chicken salad and we sat around for hours chatting, was a great night! I was gonna stay the night but got a text message from Kate letting me know I had gotten a package from Byron so of course I wanted to go home to see what it was! (It was a Gyroscope cd- very excited I was!!)

Saturday me and Kate headed to Portobello Road Markets for the day- the sun was shining and it wasn’t cold!!! We had a great day- I bought a cute little dress and a few other bits and pieces and Kate bought lots of great clothes!

The party was at Kate’s house (Kate is a friend of J’s from Adelaide! With two Kate’s this could get confusing!!) So we got all dolled up in our glam rock gear- Kate with her bright pink tights and me with my sequin scarf!! We had a great night and met some great Aussie people! I had a bit too much vodka… whoopsy doodle!! So Kate had to look after me on the bus on the way home, what a champion!!!

Sunday morning I was all good, no hangover so I was relatively happy! Today we had more sunshine and no cold weather so we headed out shopping to get the bits and pieces Kate needs for her Morocco trek. Kate is off on Saturday for 8 days, so I am gonna be a little bit lonely for that week! We got most of the stuff she needed and then headed to the River Thames and sat on a boat with Kate’s friend Kathy for the afternoon and had a couple of drinks and some dinner- very romantical!!

We got home Sunday night and crashed, we were so exhausted from our busy busy weekend!!!
