We saw Oasis in Birmingham!!

Finally the day arrives that we go and see Oasis!!!

Me and Kate got to the bus station in the nick of time with 2 minutes to spare before the bus left, pheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeew, luckyyyyyyyyyyy!! The bus ride to Birmingham was about 2 and a half hours away so after a morning of rushing around we both slept most of the way!!

We got to Birmingham by about 3pm and went for a bit of a wander around the city centre. The city centre of Birmingham was really nice, but outside that was pretty ordinary… Anywhos, we had some yummy lunch and saw some sites.

Then we decided it was time to head to the National Indoor Arena!! We found the arena and then went to a gorgeous little busy pub on the river where we had a drink and waited for Ahilan to arrive! He made it by about 7pm and we headed into the arena and got a fantastic spot!!

Oasis came on stage about 9pm and were on until 10:45pm. They were fantastic!!! Here are some photos of the show-





We had general admission standing tickets so we started off in the middle of the pack jumping around like crazy people, then I started to get crushed so I pushed my way out of the crowd and got a pretty good spot on the side of the stage near the front to watch the rest of the gig! So while Ahilan and I stood and watched the gig on the outer, Kate was in the middle of it all jumping around, loving it!!! Go Kate!!!

Oasis was amazing- highlight for me- Champagne Supernova…. I cried…. Yes why would you all be surprised by that?!!

At the end of the gig we were starving so we headed to a little takeaway place to get some food and ended up sitting there for the following 3 hours!!!

We couldn’t get the bus back to London until 3am!! AHHHHH!!!!! So we had to find something to do to amuse ourselves- so we just sat around and had some food and chatted until it was time to head to the bus station. We finally got on the bus at 3am, got back into London at about 6:15am, hopped on the tube and got home about 7am, showered and then headed off to work! AGHHHH!!!!

I didn’t sleep a wink on the bus so I was feeling pretty tired but a redbull got me through the day! Seeing Oasis was definitely worth the lack of sleep though!!

And now we’ve got another full week of work, grrrrrrrrrrrr work!!!

Oh well, its all part of the experience isnt it!??!!
