I met Taking Back Sunday!!! Ahhhhh!!!!!

I am the luckiest girl alive right now I tell you!!!

I was lucky enough to win 2 tickets to see Taking Back Sunday in an intimate acoustic gig!! And my gosh it was amazing!!!! I decided to take Ahilan as he is also a fellow TBS lover also! The gig was at an exclusive Mayfair (swanky) venue, ooooh ahhhh, I know I know very exciting!!! When we got there they took our phones and cameras so that we couldnt record anything. Best thing of all it really was a very intimate gig- there were only 50 of us there!!! I feel so lucky to have won the tix!!! First of all they played us their new album in its entirety which by the way is awesome!! Then they came out and played an acoustic set of some of their new tunes and ended with one of their oldies from their previous album- Make Damn Sure! They played a cover of a Cure song as well- thought of you Jode when they played that one!! They joked around with us and had some witty banter going on, very entertaining!!!

When they finished playing they hung around and chatted with us, signed autographs and had photos taken with us. Me and Ahilan went and chatted to all of them and congratulated them on a great new album and asked when they'd be touring Australia, Canada and London. (Good news Aussie fans- they're planning a tour for either July 2009 or early 2010. After our chat we had photos with them:

I walked out of the swanky Mayfair venue on cloud 9, I absolutely LOVED it!!!! And do did Ahilan!!! They're coming back to London in around August to tour so we're definitely gonna go and see them!!

The Album is out 1 June and I suggest for everyone to get on it!!!!
