Day 8- EGYPT- Back in Cairo!!

Today we had a free day to explore Cairo!!! First of all we visited a perfumery and it was SOOOOOOOOOOO COOL!!!!
Then it was off to visit the famous Khan-al-Khalili bazaar to haggle for souvenirs, belly dancing costumes and spices! And we passed the pyramids on the way, so strange they are right in the middle of Cairo!!!The markets and haggle time!!!!View from the bus after hours of shopping, haggling and getting bugged by the locals!!Pretty mosque on the way back to our hotel....My two proudest purchases of the day- a shisha pipe for me and a shisha pipe for Cam! Me and Nic haggled sooooooo much for my shisha (the bigger one!!) and we were both exhausted after it!!Then it was back to our hotel and one last dinner with our amazing tour group!! We went to a traditional Egyptian restaurant where there was Stuffed pigeons on the menu.... what the???!!!!Or you could get something from the Fool Corner part of the menu!!!!While we waited for our food to come Dave presented a tip to our absolutely amazing tour guide Souhby!! He was absolutely stoked!! We all put in and gave him the equivalent of about £20 each which is more than what he probably got paid for the 9 day tour!!The best tour group ever!!!!! Then the meals come... i got lamb, AMAZING!!!!And so did Lisa, we're absolute animals!!!Twinnie having a munch on my lamb!!That chicken was so damn tasty, pity i was too full to eat too much of it after that massive plate of lamb!!!We then went back to our hotel and said our goodbyes to Souhby which was very sad :( And we sat around in the pub at the hotel and had one last beer and one last shisha all together....Most people were leaving on super early flights, so we said our goodbyes, which were very sad, i cant believe how attached you get to people even after only 9 days!!! We exchanged email addresses, phone numbers etc and it was time to call it a night. I cant believe its almost over, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
