Boxing Day at DISNEYLAND PARIS!!!

Today we were up bright and early and down having breakfast by 7am so we could be at Disneyland by 10am when it opened! It took us about an hour and a half on 2 trains to get there and it was sooooo worth the long journey!!! DISNEYLAND IS THE BEST PLACE ON EARTH! We ended up spending half of the day there with 2 of the other people from our tour which was lots of fun! They ended up going back to the hotel at 4pm though cause it was too cold for them!!

We got a ticket that allowed us unlimited access to both Disneyland and Disney Studios for the day- both parks are next to each other!!

Here is us at the entry of Disneyland!
Just inside the entrance....
Tha main street where the parade c omes down- you can see the Disney Castle at the end!!!
Me and the candle stick from Beauty and the Beast (one of my favourite Disney movies!!)This is the first ride we went on- it was a haunted house- very very cool!! And not so scary!!

Me jsut walking through Disneyland! Hehe
One of the merry go rounds!
Donald Duck!!!! You could line up and have your photo taken with him but the line was about 100 kids long so we didnt bother!
Buzz Light Year ride!!!
Space mountain!! This was a rollercoaster indoors and was VERY cool!!!
This is the 'Car'movie Ride- more for the little kids!
I was a bit excited about this cause this sign told us there was a Pizza Planet restaurant just like in the Toy Story movie!!
Then we hopped on over to Disney Studio for a look!
And we found Mickey Mouse!!
By this time it was lunchtime so we headed into the food hall at Disney Studios to get something to eat- this is the inside of the food hall- so impressive! They had different themed places to eat along each side, very cool!! We settled for a burger, chips and drink which cost us 14 Euros each which is equivalent to about $28 Aussie dollars each for lunch- rip off to the maximus, b ut hey we had to eat!!
Then we had a look around Toon Studios!
Then it was time for a ride!! So we lined up for almost an hour to go on the Tower of Terror!! For those of you who have been on the Tower of Terror in Dreamworld on the Goldcoast- it is sooooo much scarier than that!! It is all indoors and has a story that goes with it- i pretty much almost weed myself, honest to god!! Byron thought it was hilarious!
Hollywood Boulevard in Disney Studios!!!
We went and saw the stunt show at Disney Studios which was excellent!!! Lots of car stunts and there was lots of fire involved!!
Then we hopped back to Disneyland!! And after hours of anticipation (well for me anyway!) we went to see the Disney Castle!!! It's like a fairytale!!!
Here's me in front of the castle!!
We saw some people doing Jay-pan style Britty so we decided to do it for you too!!
Then we went for a wander inside the castle- soooo pretty- absolutely magical!!Another one just for you Britty! At this point we were pretty much just taking the piss out of the large number of people doing the peace sign in their photos!!!Here is me on the balcony of the castle!!A view of Disneyland from the balcony of the castle!A photo looking up towards the top of the castle! After wandering out of the castle we found Pinocchio and Minnie Mouse putting on a show, so we stuck around and had a watch of it!
After this it was time to get ourselves a spot for the ever famous Disney parade!!!
The parade begins!!!
By the time the parade had finished it was dark! So seen as we only had a couple of hours until Disney Studios closed we decided to go back over there and stay there until it closed at 8pm and then come back over to Disneyland after that!
Here is the cinema at Disney Studios... (we decided we'd rather go on rides than see a short movie so we didnt go inside here!!)
Hollywood Bouelvard by night!
Tower of Terror looking scary at night time....
Byza and an old Disney car!!!
Me and the pretty Christmas tree!! (Also i was freezing, well we both were! It dropped to -3 degrees when the sunset, ahhhhhhh it was soooooooooo cold!!!)Us with the Disney Studio Wheel!!!
One of the space 'cars' from the movie Armageddon!!
This studio showed how the special effects in Armageddon were done- very impressive!!This is where we went and saw the stunt show earlier!!
This is the Aerosmith Rock N Roller Coaster and was by far our favourite ride- we went on there twice!!!! It is an indoor rollercoaster- which is like a rock concert on the inside with flashing lights loud music, fantastic!!!
Byron and Mr Walt Disney (which is kind of blending in with the darkness of the night!!)By this time it was 8pm and Disney Studios was closing so we hopped back over to Disneyland! I was immediately drawn to the castle- here it is at night all lit up pretty, wow i loved it!!!
And at this point our camera ran out of battery power!! Aghhhhh!! Kelly was not happy as you can imagine!!!! So all the photos i took for the rest of my night were on my phone so they werent too fantastic, but had to do! We then went for a walk through the kids part of Disneyland which was great for a look!!! Until I came across.... the teacup ride!!!!!
I insisted that we go on it!! So here is Byron in our pink tea cup!!
Here's me all ready for a ride in the pink tea cup!!
Byron looking very manly in the pretty tea cup!!
Me and Byron in the tea cup!
Me in the tea cup- it took a while for me to stand up cause i was so dizzy from the teacups spinning around at a million miles an hour!!
Then it was time for dinner- this was my little Mickey mouse pizza!! And it was sooo delicious!! And not too expensive- i think it was only around 4 euros which is a lot cheaper than what we paid for lunchies!!!
After dinner we watched the nightime parade- it was so great!! Unfortunately because most of it was using tiny little lights, they didnt turn out too well on my phone camera. But the parade was excellent- it was even more spectacular than the parade earlier!!!
After the parade, it was getting close to closing time- Disneyland closed at 10pm, so we had an hour to check out the rest of the rides we wanted to go on!! So we hopped on the buzz light year ride!!! Here is Buzz giving us our instructions for the ride....
Inside the waiting area for the ride...
This was the ride- you had laser guns and had to shoot at laser points throughout the ride- the points were accumulated and you were given an overall score at the end- i was a good 50,000 points behind Byron, I sucked at it!!!!
After this we visited the gift shop and I got a Mickey Mouse toy and Byron got one of the 3 eyed creatures from Toy Story! By this time it was time to go home after 12 hours at Disneyland in freezing cold weather!! We passed the Christmas tree again on our way out, all lit up pretty!!!
The Christmas decorations looked so much prettier at night time!
At the exit all our favourite Disney characters were there to say goodbye!!!
We had such a fun day at Disneyland- it truly is a magical fairytale place!! I felt like a big kid again for the day!!! After our big day, we caught the trains back to the hotel and finally got back around midnight and boy did we sleep well, we were exhausted!!!!!!
