We were very excited opening our presents and got very spoilt!!!! Thank you to everyone who sent us presents, so thoughtful of you all!!!! (For those of you wondering- Byron bought me some roses and bought me my ticket to Disneyland for Boxing Day!!! Yayyyyyyy!!)After present opening, we both spent some time on skype calling our families and i spoke to a couple of the girls as well!! By 10:30am we were showered and had eaten lots of pastries for breakfast and were out the door to go sight seeing!! We were 10 minutes late to the walking tour planned by our tour manager so they left without us but we still walked around and saw everything that we would have seen even if we had gone on the tour, but this way we could do it at our leisure!!!
First stop was the Notre Dame Catedral. Obviously being Christmas Day there were massive lines to get into the Cathedral for mass, there were people everywhere!!!!
Here's us outside Notre Dame!!
Byza outside Notre Dame....
River Seine.....

There is a section on the bridge (which we are standing in below) that is known for its romantic marriage proposals because it is a perfect spot!.jpg)

.... which I was shocked about!!!
There were loads of initials all over the bridge so we decided to add ours to this piece of history!!
We went wandering in the direction of Du Louvre and came across Louis Vuitton- this one is for you Cockie!!!
And we found Quiksilver!!!!
I'm not quite sure what this building was... there was no signs etc, but i was fascinated with its design and architecture and detail....
This giant head was out the front of the building above, so we decided to have photos with it. Here it is holding me in his hand....
And here Byron is picking its nose!!
Getting close to Du Louvre.....
Me at the Louvre!!! We couldnt go inside because being Christmas Day, it was closed!
Byza at the Louvre!!
Victory Arch leading into the Place la Concorde....
Byza with his map trying to figure out where we should walk to next.... (I'm thinking lunch?!!!)
You can really see this too well cause it comes up really small in this photo but there is a blue sign that says Gyro (one of our favourite bands is Gyroscope.... we were excited!! haha!!)
Christmas Lunch!!! We ended up in this restaurant where everything was served on sticks!! Very funny!! And no turkey for lunch for us!!! Here is Byron with his plate of meat!
And here is me looking very attractive with beanie hair with my chicken on a stick for lunch!!
After lunch we both got a nutella crepe for dessert!! And then it was back to our hotel to shower and get dressed up for our Christmas Dinner with our tour group!!!

For entree we had French Onion soup which was quite delicious and very cheesy!!! And for main course I had the chicken......
And Byron had the beef..... (so we got to try both!!!)
Our mains were very yummy!!! Then came dessert which was a cake which had a texture in between a sponge cake and icecream, very strange!! But it was very yummy!!!! It was no Christmas pudding and brandy custard though!! But i guess it is good to experience how Christmas is celebrated in another country!!
The guy standing up is our tour manager; Gary- he is a fantastic wealth of knowledge- I would definitely go on another tour if he was tour manager!
The restaurant where we had dinner on the inside....
And on the outside....
After dinner we went to a bar with some of the people on our tour and had a few cocktails!!! (On the way there passed one of the famous windmills of Paris!)
Then we left and headed up to see this Cathedral which was absolutely stunning and had amazing views across Paris-
