Bank Holiday Monday in Windsor!

Today was a bank holiday (public holiday) and it was a bright and sunny beautiful warm day so me and Byron decided to head to Windsor for the day. A day in the countryside was just what we needed. Windsor is about a half an hour train ride out of central London, so its not too far away!

Waiting at the Slough train station, only 15 minutes from Windsor now!!
We decided to visit Windsor Castle first- I had been there before but Byron hadn't and it was beautiful so I didnt mind going again!

Then we went walking around the castle for the next 3 or 4 hours, so here's the photos!

The flag up means the Queen isnt in residence, dang it!! We were hoping for a glimpse of the old bird!!

The entry to the state rooms where we walked around the castle and saw ballrooms, dining rooms, the kings bedroom etc it was sooooo cool!! Very fancy and beautiful and lots of gold!!

After a few hours walking around we had seen everything and decided it was time to leave!

Then we ended up in a pub for a drink and a snack!!

We had an awesome day!! The sun was shining and it was even warm!!! After today we decided we would do a day trip one day out of every weekend from now on to see more of country England cause it is just beautiful and it's fabulous to get out of the city!!!
