Chef Matty cooks for me... AGAIN!!!

Today me and Matt set off at lunchtime to the Borough Markets!!! The Borough Markets is one of the largest food markets in the world. The market historically focused on fruits and vegetables, but has in recent years added stalls dealing with the fine food retail market. Which is one of the massive reasons I love it so much!! They have the MOST delicious food there, mmmm!!!!

For lunch I introduced Matt to the famous grilled cheese sandwich that Ahilan introduced to me during my first weekend in London. As I predicted Matt LOVED it!!! We got a nice freshly squeezed juice afterwards and sipped as we explored the rest of the market!!!

Matt decided he wanted to cook for me tonight so we were on the hunt for something spiffy that he could put together. We ended up going home with some lamb cutlets and lots of fresh veggies!! (Oh and Matt bought himself some black pudding to have the next morning for breakfast.... YUK!!!)

We headed home and Matt started cooking this amazing meal.... I am really bad at remembering his fancy shmancy names he gives his food but I think this was lamb cutlets served with a ragu, mashed... something not potato (!!) finished with a white sauce and it was absoultey devine!! MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM YUM!!! It's quite handy having a chef in the family!! Matt has been teaching me how to cook so hopefully by the time I return home I will be a chef extraordinare!!! Hahaa!!! We had our lamb with a very nice red wine... in fact we went through 2 bottles of red wine in the end! Then settled in for the night watching movies... lovely lovely!! Good food, good company, what more could you want?!!!
