Britney Spears Concert!!

Today I was at work and decided that I desperately wanted to go to the Britney Spears Concert- she had already done a few shows in London and she had 3 more left and I was determined to go to the one this evening, if anything I needed something to cheer me up and make me smile.

So i had a look on gumtree.com and found some tickets that a guy was selling for £25 each (he paid £55 for them so it was quite the bargain!) so I organised to meet him at the O2 Arena to pick up the tickets before the show, then called Nicole and asked if she wanted to be my date for the night. Lucky for me, she said yes! So we headed there straight after work and picked up the tickets (not without drama let me tell you)!

Outside the arena there was a circus atmosphere with clowns, circus tents, popcorn, rides, it was very cool!! (For those of you who dont know Britney's latest album is called Circus- hence the Circus scene!)

Inside the arena, the stage was in the middle (very simimilar to the Justin Timberlake Concert for those of you who went) and the stage was surrounded by a giant red circus curtain!

Me and Nic!Before Britney came on they had some, well... what i can only describe as circus FREAKS (!!) entertain us. Here's Nic's midget man (she loved him!!)And here come the circus freaks!Then the curtain comes up and Britney Spears!!!! We had amazing tickets- this was literally right in front of us- maybe 10 metres away, sooooo GREAT! We had standing tickets so we managed to get quite close to the action!!!

And then it all ends (Britney is in the middle!!)Time for us to go home :(Here is some of the fashion that people were sporting for the night- there were lots of pigtails and fluffy pink things in the hair like 'Hit me baby one more time' Britney and lots of short skirts and tutus and heals that girls could barely walk in, very funny and impressive!!We headed to the tube to go home, I ended up getting home about 12:30am so it was quite late and when i got home i was too hyper to sleep! So it just ended up being another sleepless night, which i have had for the 4 nights anyway since Byron left, I'm getting quite used to this no sleep thing!

Anyways, me and Nicole had a great night, Britney was fabulous and I would definitely recommend to those of you back home, to book some tickets to go to Melbourne to see her!!! DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO IT!!!!!!!

P.S. I'm pretty sure she mimed the entire concert, but it was still an EXCELLENT show!!!
