Sun, sun and more SUN!!

Well the last 2 days in London we have been treated to beautiful, sunny, warm weather!!! What a treat!!! Monday night I got home from work and we decided we wanted to go spend some time in the park- it is still light outside until almost 10pm these days so we had plenty of time to enjoy the sunshine!!!

We headed to the sports store first and bought.... a cricket set!!!! We decided we'd go to the park and have a hit of cricket in the park!!! It was soooooooo much fun!!! We played 3 innings. Byron won the first and I won the second!! I know i cant believe I bet him too!!! Woohoo go me!!! Tied at one win each, we couldnt go home until somebody had won fair and square, so we played another innings.... and you'll never guess who won....................... ME!!!!!!! Hahahahahahahahhahahahahahaha!!! Byron was bribing me all sorts of ways to keep that one secret but there was no way I wasnt telling the WORLD that I bet him in cricket!!!! Hahahaha!!!!!!!! It was a magnificent catch that won me the game!!! AHHHHHH!! Nothing like the grin of a winner I tell you!!!!!

After my tremendous win, we headed home and cooked a very late dinner- the cabonara pasta that Matt taught me to make, I taught Byron how to make it too, so next time, we're gonna see how mine compares to his!!!

Then Tuesday night I got home from work and the sun was still out and shining so we thought we'd pack up a picnic and head to the park for dinner. We made salads and cooked some yummy spicy chicken wings, got a couple of beers, grabbed the picnic rug and were ready to walk out the door when.... we looked out the window and saw that a lot of clouds had come over and all of a sudden it almost seemed a little cold.... we didnt wanna rug up in our jumpers so we decided we'd have the picnic inside, in our room!! So we did and here it is!!!! We're such nerds we know!!Mmmmmm yummy salad.... and whipped cream???? Why did I let Byron pull the salad together??!! hahaha!!! Nah its ok the whipped cream is a personal joke, he just did it to make us laugh!!
We didnt go close to finishing it, so we packed it all away with and chucked our paper plates in the bin (yayyy no dishes!!!) and thought how perfect it would be for lunch tomorrow!!!
