Tonight straight from work I caught up with Sammy!! Sammy is mum's friend who is over here visiting family with her mum and dad and brother.
Sammy brought over my birthday presents from Mum and Dad and from my grandparents too!! We had intended to go out for a drink but we ended up just sitting in her hotel room chatting and drinking peppermint tea for 4 and a half hours!!!! Not even realising how late it had gotten and never even ate dinner!!
Sammy was so excited to see me open my pressies from mum and dad which were all from their recent trip to Hawaii!!! I got 2 beautiful costume jewellery rings, a serenity ring (made with Aloha! hehe!), a really cool black strapless dress with hot pink flowers all over and an awesome purple Guess purse (a real one! haha)!!!! Thank you SOOOO MUCH mum and dad, I LOVE IT!!!!!! Sam was so funny! She told me I had to put on the dress so she could take a photo of me wearing it so she could show mum and dad and then she took a heap of photos of the two of us together so that she could rub it into mum that she saw her daughter and she didn't!!! Haha she is such a crack up!!
I also got a great pressie from my grandparents- a red leather handbag (which is going to be perfect for Spain as it goes over one shoulder and across your body) and some makeup! I love love love it!! Thank you so much Gwen and Pa!!!!
Sammy also brought me gifts from the homeland- a jar of vegemite and a packet of Tim Tams!!! MMMMMMMMMMM YUM!! I hadn't had Tim Tams since leaving so I was absolutely stoked!!! Thanks Sammy!!! They won't last long!!!!
Anywho, I'm catching up with Sammy before she leaves- she goes home on Monday so we're having dinner Sunday night!! Can't wait!!!
