A day in Bath and Stonehenge!!

Today me and Nicole did a bus tour to Bath and Stonehenge and we had a fabulous day of sight seeing!

Bath and the stunning countryside surround it is one of England's most beautiful places to visit. It is a unique city with hot springs, Roman Baths and Abbey and Georgian stone crescents. It is set in rolling Somerset countryside and is just over 100 miles west of London.

Here's what we saw:
Then we did a tour of the Roman baths!

The water was actually really hot- it was boiling and bubbling like a pot on the stove!!Us with our nerdy audio guides!!Ghost man!!Then had a wander around and got a yummy pastie for lunch!
Then went for a wander in the park... which cost us £1!!! Then more wandering around....I just love Bath- that is the second time I had visited (the first time was with Jackie, Adam and Matt)- it is such a pretty place, gorgeous old sandstone buildings and full of history!
Then we hopped back on the bus and it was off to stonehenge!!
The age of Stonehenge is estimated at 3100BC and speculation on the reason it was built range from human sacrifice to astronomy. But essentially its a massive pile of rocks in the middle of nowhere!!
We saw a stupid lovey dovey couple lying on the ground like this, so me and Nicole decided to take the piss- well she did- she laid down like this....And then a lady came by and insisted that she take a photo of the both of us and she wouldnt take no for an answer, so I had to get down there too! So ridiuclous!! We felt soooo silly!
We had a great day- gotta love the sight seeing!!!
