I left Adelaide on 24 June last year and arrived in London on 25 June!! I can't believe I have been away from home for that long!! AHHHHHH!!!!!!! That year has just flown by!!!
To mark the occasion me and Shorey headed to the Shepherds Bush walkie for a couple of drinks. Ahilan came for an hour or so and we also met up with Dan- I used to work with Dan at Charles Sturt back in Adelaide and he has come over on a working holiday visa. Shorey and Dan met for the first time tonight, she left for WA only a couple of weeks before Dan started so they never met back in Adelaide, but we all worked at Charles Sturt at some point!!
We had a few drinkies and had some laughs reminiscing about the good old Charles Sturt days and then ended up strolling home when the Walkie shut (and we got the news of the death of Michael Jackson- what a shock!) not without a food stop on the way!!
Here's Shorey, Dan and me at the end of the night just after we left the Walkie when we realised that we didn't take a single photo the entire evening!! I know, so un-Kelly like!!
It's quite funny that I spent my 1 year anniversary of living in London with 2 people I used to work with back in Adelaide!! Cheers for a great night guys!!!!
